More than half my life has been spent abroad, in countries as culturally and geographically distinct as Iraq, Australia and, since 2000, Japan. These experiences shaped my outlook on life and character and encouraged me to take a cosmopolitan view of the world. The International Education Program offers an excellent opportunity for young adults to expand their horizons through studying foreign languages and cultures in Japan and overseas. Those embarking on the adventure of living and studying in another country will gain experiences that make an everlasting impression and contribute much to their personal and professional growth. Working with the students on this program is a great privilege for me as a teacher.
